We think so, what do you think?
This is exciting news for the London chauffeur industry, Mercedes know the pressure was on from Jaguar Audi and BMW over the last few years with these manufacturers really stepping their game up and producing some fantastic chauffeur cars including, chauffeur car of the year the Audi A8L, Jaguar XJL and the BMW 730L.
So what does Mercedes have up there sleeves?
Well, what we know so far is, this is the year Mercedes will take the crown of chauffeur car of the year once again.
With over 7 different types of the new W222 Mercedes S class rolling off the production line in the next 3 years, we believe there will be a model to suit everyone.
The new additions to the S class models will see the extra long wheelbase which is due out in 2014, S600 Pullman, S class Coupé and S class cabriolet.
The discussions of this extra long wheelbase is great news for the London chauffeur industry and clients, as with the current long wheelbase model offering an additional 7″ extra legroom already, this extra long wheelbase could be up to an extra foot in length but nobody knows.
This car already has plenty of legroom in the long wheelbase models but having an extra long wheelbase model will surely please our clients for added comfort.

Along with these new additions, Mercedes-Benz will also develop a comprehensive array of leading technical innovations in the dynamics, safety and car communication areas. Also, a full range of more economical, yet powerful internal combustion (gasoline, diesel and diesel BlueTEC) engines in I4, V6 (and/or I6?), V8 and V12 cylinder configurations will make their entrance in the scene to replace the current powerplants. The ride will be further optimized thanks to the extensive measures included in the BlueEFFICIENCY eco-friendly package.
